I hope Joe Johnson don’t loose his team to Dewayne Wade. The Stars will come to Atlanta with that deep team and they are locked for years. The Hawks offered him a fair contract.

Man, i’m loving ALL of your post, you’re picking my brain !!!! We need to sit down w/ Woody and express our thoughts and hopefully he will listen! The lineup that tony posted was perfect for the Hawks.

Hawks playing good ball this year to start, i think they will become one of the best teams in the nba this year as they get better as the season go on. now the defense must get better soon to keep winning game, the way they are playing now will not work for them it just will not, we need to get better on defense now and fast. m. woodson lets get this D going. love them atl hawks GO HAWKS GO!!!

Yea Tony I like the line up you posted. I am wondering when the coach will Bench Williams and slide in Crawford. Its crazy to have this guy not as a starter.

Eddie Johnson was my favorite hawk back in the day – now Jamaal Crawford is my favorite hawk. He’s a special player. I waited along time for the hawks to get a fearless competitor who will impose his will on you.

You have to respect a player like Jamaal because he can hurt you in so many different ways. He can attact the basket better than anyone because he’s so versatile and skillful.

If everyone on team plays their role, I believe they can win a championship this season. This is what they would have to do to win it all:

Move Jamaal to point guard and let him and Joe Johnson be the offense while Horford, Josh Smith and ZaZa grab rebounds on both ends of the court and control the paint. Move Horford to power forward and ZaZa to center.

With this line up we can compete with Orlando, Boston, Cleveland, Lakers and San Antonio.

Gotta give credit where it’s due as well…”itsslomotionbaby” has a point about the maturation of Smoove and Horford. Blame that on coaching (Woody)….

Is it me or does it seem like Flip is a distant memory?

On another note, how lucky are the Browns fans that they actually had a SITDOWN with their team’s ownership?? I’m admittedly jealous. Clearly that would NEVER happen here with the Hawks.
