The Hawks have a page in their game notes that are released every gameday that list the season-highs, and after Wednesday night’s 146-115 beating of the Raptors the PR department might want to just start from scratch. Here is a list of all the season-highs that were set in the win:
  • Points in a game = 146 (Previous High = 125)
  • Points in a quarter = 42 in the 2nd quarter (Previous High = 37)
**Also scored 39 in the 3rd quarter
  • Field Goal Percentage = 59.1% (Previous High = 54.5%)
  • 3-Pointers Made = 11 (Previous High = 9)
  • Free Throws Attempted = 39 (Previous High = 34)
  • Bench Scoring = 67 (Previous High = 49)
  • Fast Break Points = 26 (Previous High = 19)
  • Margin of Victory = 31 (Previous High = 25)
  • Halftime Lead = 21 (Previous High = 17)
  • Individual Assists = 11 (Joe Johnson)
  • Individual Field Goal Percentage = 83.3% (Al Horford) *Minimum 10 FGM

Man, I knew the Hawks were mad about the home loss to Orlando and road loss to Detroit, but I didn’t think they were gonna respond THIS well, lol. Great job last night fellas, total team effort. Although Collins is on the bench, he needs to get in some type of physical shape since he’s not getting much playin time. His size will be needed in the playoffs so he needs to be prepared when called upon. Also, what is going on with Othello Hunter, is he hurt?

Othello’s not hurt. He’s on the inactive list. Roster limits.
