Garnett Out for Tonight

Friday, January 8, 2010
By Jon Newberry

Kevin Garnett is listed as “OUT” for tonight’s game in Boston’s game notes, so the Hawks will not have to deal with the 20 points and 11 rebounds that he has averaged against Atlanta over the course of his career.

In other news, many are looking at this game as a test for the C’s, so it is safe to assume it is a good test for the Hawks as well. Here are some links to the relevant articles:

One Response to “Garnett Out for Tonight”

  1. well i dont want to seem too overly optamistic with this comment but i think boston is getting a little old before us. boston just does not intimidate us anymore. if we continue to clean up some of the things that hubie brown talked about i say we can at least replace boston in the top 3. i think we are finding out how to beat clevland, we just have no answer for orlando.

i liked the victory, but i have to rag on joe where was he at. i guess tony was right in his blogg when he says sometimes crawford needs to be the man down the streetch instead of joe.but i am beginning to see why woodson does not have a contract b/c your teams should not continually keep being ran out of the gym the way orlando does us, my god put collins out their to at least give howard something to think about.and for the life of me zaza is beginning to make me sick, you are a center who cannot explode off the floor and dunk the ball when passed to you up under the basket if you cannnot do that you are not an nba center if yo cannot dunk a ball out in front on a fast break you are not a n nba center. just what does zaza add to the team he doesnt have a jumper from 10 ft.
