The Best of Joe
Playing the Celtics has a way of bringing out the best in Joe Johnson. Maybe it is because the Celtics gave up on him less than a year into his NBA career and sent him to Phoenix as part of a package deal that got them Tony Delk and Rodney Rogers. Maybe it is because the Celtics are currently an elite team in the East, and prime time players like Joe play their best, against the best.
Johnson’s 36-point performance on Monday that saw him score in traffic, from behind the arc, triple-teamed, in transition, or any other way you can think of, reminded us a little bit of his a different highlight bundle from a couple years ago. If the all-star appearances weren’t enough to make the C’s regret their decision, these two games probably did the trick. Take a look at the footage and you decide which is more impressive.

Joe Johnson is just amazing. I hope he stays with us. Don’t sleep on Jamal “the dream one” Crawford either he has been hot and a great addition to the Atlanta Hawks line up. Al Horford is just the truth, all around good guy and player. Good job by all of the guys.

With Joe and Jamal in the game at the same time, they give teams H-E-L-L!!! Stay consist Joe and earn that elite status. The Hawks will go as far as you take them!
