Joe Gets Starting Nod in Dallas
Joe Johnson will be a starter Sunday night in the 2010 All-Star Game. Stan Van Gundy, head coach of the Eastern Confernce squad, has informed the media that Joe Johnson will replace Allen Iverson as the fifth starter.
Johnson becomes the first Hawks since Dikembe Mutombo in 1997-98 to start in the All-Star Game.
“I’m extremely excited by this honor, and appreciative that I’ve been selected,” Johnson told Arthur Triche, Hawks VP of Public Relations. “Thanks to Coach Van Gundy for having the confidence in me and I hope to represent the Hawks well on Sunday.”

Hey wwhat do yall think about this?
Before the trade deadline trade Joe Johnson and a future 1st round for Rodney Stuckey and Tayshaun prince. NExt season sign back Joe Smith along with Joel Anthony, and Brenden Haywood. I think thats a good line up the problem with the hawks is their unathleticism nobody can stay infront of their man, especially vs OKC but it was embarrasing in NY becuz we were up nd noone could guard nate.
Smoove and Marvin are Startint to look fat they need to get in the weight room its inconveinient but it will only help them get better.

It looks like the Wizards are trying to make some lopsided trades lowering their salary to avoid the luxury tax. Jamison and Miller are in the talks, have the Hawks thought about this? They could be great additions to the team and really put us in championship contention. Its been said that the Wizards would take on trades favoring the other team as long as it dropped their salary cap.
