Joe Sidelined with Strained Thumb

Joe Johnson missed tonight’s win over the Pistons with a strained thumb and is officially listed as “day-to-day”. Joe originally injured his thumb while fighting for a loose ball in Wednesday’s win over the Lakers. Johnson was able to finish the game Wednesday and fought through the pain last night in Cleveland while keeping it “loose as possible”. Joe is typically a warrior in playing through pain, but any time the team can work for a victory while he takes time to heal it is a bonus.

Stay tuned for more information about Joe’s status for Tuesday’s game in Charlotte.
