Monday Practice Report

Joe Johnson and Al Horford did not participate in practice on Monday, and Josh Smith was limited.

Johnson was given rest at the advice of head athletic trainer Wally Blase.
Al was receiving treatment on his sore back and resting his right ankle that has not been 100% since the Hawks win in Miami on Jan. 18.
Josh was resting his knee that has been bothering him since he hyper-extended it on Jan. 21 vs. New Orleans.

While there has not been an official “status” released by the Hawks PR, I would be extremely surprised either one of Josh or Joe missed tomorrow night’s game.

Horford’s status is a little bit more complicated.

“I’m sure Wally (Blase) will be listening to Al to see how he feels,” said Coach Drew after Monday’s practice. “If he feels like he can go I am sure he will let him know. If not then he will probably have to just sit.”
