Hawks Healthy, Boozer 'Unlikely'

The Hawks may catch their first break in this tough stretch of games as Carlos Boozer is “highly unlikely” to play in tonight’s game at the United Center according to Sam Smith’s blog on Bulls.com. Officially, Boozer is listed as day-to-day according to the injury report, but that usually indicates that at least a game or two will be missed.

Atlanta will probably hedge its bets and prepare as if Boozer will play, as the Hawks were recently in a similar situation with OKC and Kevin Durant only to see his status upgraded as gametime approached.

On the flip side, Atlanta’s injury report is clean. J-Smoove’s knee continues to get better each day as he receives treatment, although he doubts that it will get back to 100% by the end of the regular season.
