Veteran help, I do agree with. Trading Josh Smith? No. If that happens we better get more than just veteran help.

I like this guy, if you would take a look at the field that was left over at 48, you would see that theres really no player that has the size that we need to fill our center void. Now this is a good pick for what we need at that certain point in the draft. I say if Benson gets a year under his belt, and really consentrate on his weight training and post defensen (he already has the nose for scoring the ball) I think we should come out of this really good... I still would say to trade Smith for a proven vet so we can have alittle more age at the big mans position to help Al and Benson.

Welcome aboard Keith. Good scorer and shot blocker. It's not unusual for a player to have a small frame coming out of college. 7'2 Kareem Abdul-Jabbar weighed 225lbs when he was drafted, 7'1 Tree Rollins weighed 235lbs when he was drafted, and 7'1 David Robinson weighed 235lbs when he was drafted.

Keith is the 1st center drafted by the Atlanta Hawks who is a proven scorer and can defend. We now have a center who will make D.Howard work on both ends of the court. Keith just need to get stronger so won't get pushed around by nba bigs. Good job Rick Sund.
