Im happy we kept our core together atleast.really wish we still had jamal crawford though….but u cant beg a player to stay i guess….i watched a little of the first game against the bobcats and i think we should have kept pape sy and keith.

Terrible Moves! I’m a For Life Hawks fan and I Really liked tne talent I saw in the players waived. I could Easily see Sy taking Marvins spot and Benson was a nice athletic presence on the inside while Wannamaker was nice at the point. I just don’t understand some of these decisions. I still love the squad as it is and I think that we will do a lot better this year than most people give us credit for.

Ivan Johnson is a solid player who is not injury prone and he will bring a physical presence that is much needed. Hawks need to get rid of Marvin Williams.

Travis,

All you did was threw people in a trade. First of all, Wizards will not trade Wall unless he cries his way out like Howard but he is looked up for years. Second, Wizards will not take on Johnson when they still have Lewis. Third, Green is a Guard, not a SF.

We will have major problems at Center as this season goes on. They will have to stop rotating Horford into PF because we really need his minutes at Center because only Zaza and Collins playing back-up.

loses his job and we get someone to buy the team, we can (hopefully) draft a new center that our gm thinks is good. hard to be a hawks fan when our GM sucks and our owner won’t spend money.

I can’t believe we waived Sy. He has some real potential and I think will make a good pro one day, just needs to work on his jumper.
