Joe Reaches Milestone

With his 3-point basket with 1:53 remaining in last night’s game against the Lakers, Joe Johnson became the seventh player in franchise history to reach 10,000 points in a Hawks uniform.

Earlier this season Joe recorded his 2,500th assist as a Hawk, and now he is the first player in team history to reach both of those milestones. In fact, there are only nine other active players that have accomplished that feat with one franchise. The list is an impressive one, including Kobe Bryant, Tim Duncan, Kevin Garnett, LeBron James, Steve Nash, Dirk Nowitzki, Tony Parker, Paul Pierce, and Dwyane Wade.
