December 10 is a good day for Josh Smith, apparently. Five years ago on this date, Josh won his first ever NBA Player of the Week honor. Today, he’s added his second.

The NBA announced today that Smith has been named Eastern Conference Player of the Week for Dec. 3-9, for helping lead the team to a 3-0 record that included wins over Denver, Washington, and at Memphis.

Smith’s line in the 3 games is pretty baller: 21.0 points, 12.0 rebounds, 3.3 assists, 2.0 steals.

It’s the second win for a Hawks player in three weeks, as Al Horford took home the honor for the week of Nov. 19-25. Horford was also nominated for the award this week as well.

To the victors go the spoils, and if the Hawks keep playing like they are, there could be more of this recognition to come.

Congrats Josh on a job well done!
