Finally! The 3, 4, 5, and 6 seeds have still not been locked up, but at least the scenarios are limited enough at this point that we can list them all:

Hawks clinch the 3rd seed if:
       – ATL defeats CLE on Wednesday
OR – BOS loses to CHI on Tuesday
OR – BOS loses to MIL on Wednesday

Celtics clinch the 3rd seed if:
      – BOS defeats CHI and MIL AND ATL loses to CLE on Wednesday

Heat clinch the 5th seed if:
       – MIA defeats NJ on Wednesday
OR – MIL loses to BOS on Wednesday

Bucks clinch the 5th seed if:
       – MIL defeats BOS AND MIA loses to NJ on Wednesday

So… Atlanta and Miami control their own destiny in securing the higher seeds while Boston and Milwaukee would need help.

The Bucks could fall into a tie with Charlotte if they drop their final game in Boston, but Milwaukee would retain the 6th seed due to a better conference record (they split their four head-to-head match-ups).

Also of Note:
Jamal Crawford missed Monday night’s game due primarily to a toe injury that occurred in Saturday’s win in Washington. According to, coach Woodson mentioned before the game that he was considering giving Jamal the night off because of “nagging injuries”. Stay tuned for updates concerning Crawford’s status for Wednesday’s regular season finale.
