Update from Shootaround

A few updates from this morning’s shootaround before the Hawks open up the second half of the season at the Highlight Factory tonight against the Golden State Warriors.

  • Joe Johnson is still officially listed as a gametime decision, but all indications are that he will make his return tonight after missing the last two games (and the All-Star game) with tendinitis in his knee.
  • Zaza Pachulia is also battling injury, as he aggravated a calf injury in last week’s win over Orlando. Big Z first injured his calf over the summer while playing for the Georgian National Team. While LD and the trainers will play it safe without saying that Zaza will definitely play tonight, Pachulia seemed confident at shootaround that he will be in uniform and able to contribute.
