Milwaukee Bucks v Atlanta Hawks

Last night the Portland Trail Blazers were our friends.  Tonight they’ll be our enemies.

Portland beat the Chicago Bulls 99-89 in the United Center behind 28 points from LaMarcus Aldridge. The loss drops the Bulls into a sixth place tie with the Boston Celtics, and the Hawks now own a 1.5 game lead over both teams for the fifth spot.standings

Atlanta’s magic number to clinch a playoff spot is down to three after the Philadelphia 76ers blew a late lead in Denver, losing to the Nuggets 101-100. Denver has now won 14 in a row, and the 76ers are close to officially being eliminated.

Biggest winner: Hawks
Atlanta got a bit of a cushion with Chicago’s loss on Thursday. The Hawks can further extend the lead with a win tonight.

Biggest losers: Bulls
A home loss to Portland is a game the Bulls would obviously like to have back. They trailed by 27 points after three quarters and now lead the Milwaukee Bucks by just two games.
