Korver’s Streak Reaches 85

Kyle Korver extended his consecutive three-point streak to 85 games Wednesday night against the Pistons.  That streak is the second-longest in NBA history, and he is now just five games away from breaking Dana Barros’ all-time record.

Tonight’s first three came on some beautiful ball movement.  Al Horford handed the ball off to Jeff Teague, who used Horford as a screen.  That caused Detroit to be out of position, and forced them to rotate back to Horford when Teague kicked it to him.  Horford swung it to DeMarre Carroll on the wing, and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Korver’s defender, left him in the corner to cover Carroll.  This left Korver all alone, and it was an easy find for Carroll.  Watch it below:
