Mike Scott Plays With One Shoe
Of all Atlanta Hawks players, of course it would happen to Mike Scott.
Scott’s shoe slipped off while setting a pick on offense during the first half of Atlanta’s game against Golden State Friday. In the NBA, a missing shoe isn’t important enough to warrant a stoppage of play, so Scott played the rest of the offensive possession without the shoe. He then tossed it to the sideline, played an entire defensive possession without it before coming back down and draining a three-pointer in just the sock.
Play was stopped after that, and he retrieved the lost item. But the Hawks outscored the Warriors 5-0 when he was missing the shoe, so maybe we’re onto something here?
